President Chandrikapersad Santokhi is officially installed as a member of the Boy Scouts of Suriname on March 6th. In his speech, the head of state indicated that he believes in the strength and skills of this organization. The principles and core values that the Boy Scouts are taught, such as honesty, helpfulness and respect for others, can be applied for the rest of their lives.

“President, congratulations on joining the Boy Scouts of Suriname. I wish you much success and am assured that you will be a worthy member of this special organization.” Thus, the first lady congratulated the president on his admission to the Boy Scouts of Suriname.
