The handover of the Spouses of CARICOM Leaders Action Network (SCLAN) board took place on Saturday March 16th in Miami.

The outgoing chair is Mrs. Rossana Briceño, spouse of the Prime Minister of Belize. The new board consists of:

The chair, Mrs. Mellisa Santokhi-Seenacherry;

Vice-chair Mrs. Ann Marie Davis;

Mrs. Rossana Briceño bestuurslid;

Mrs. Kristin Burt bestuurslid;

Mrs. Sharon Rowley bestuurslid.

During this meeting it was agreed that a comprehensive revision of the SCLAN statutes will take place. “This will be our first priority as a board.” The next meeting will be held virtually and is scheduled for April 24, 2024.

“Together we hope, as a new board, to increase the involvement of all Caribbean women, among other things”, said First Lady Santokhi.
