On August 21, 2023, at the invitation of H.E. Ann Marie Davis, spouse of the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, the First Lady attended the Opening Ceremony of the 13th Ministerial Meeting of Women’s Affairs of the Commonwealth as Vice Chair of the Spouses of CARICOM Leaders Action Network (SCLAN). (13th Commonwealth Women’s Affairs Ministerial Meeting).

During the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister of the Bahamas and the Secretary General of the Commonwealth, among others, addressed those present. We cannot plan the future without the contribution and presence of the woman. That is why there has once again been a call to all women to work together, to think together and to act together towards a better world, now more than ever.

In addition, the guests present were allowed to enjoy the culture of the Bahamas in the form of song and dance.
