Amazon’s Watch Magazine held a Global Power Women Conference in New York on September 21. The theme of this conference was: Advancing Resilience & Transformational Women Leadership for Sustainable High Performance & Global Impact.

The line-up of speakers included several impressive women, including the President of Kosovo, H.E. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, the First Lady of Burundi, H.E.Angelina Ndayishimiye and several directors and CEOs of major companies and organizations. Also First Lady Mellisa Santokhi-Seenacherry of Suriname, was allowed to give a presentation about her work, especially the projects she carries out with children.

The new Amazons Watch Magazine was also launched during this conference. It is worth mentioning that the First Lady is featured in the magazine, together with Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States and Mia Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, among others.
