During a high-level side event at the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen Global Platform in New York, the First Lady had the honor of addressing my fellow First Ladies and distinguished guests. This event, organized by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, took place on Monday, September 23, 2024. Among the speakers were the First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden, and the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.

The theme of the event was ‘Securing the Future for Children: Addressing New Challenges for Soft Power’, and its goal was to bring together spouses of world leaders, experts, and international organizations to discuss innovative solutions for improving education, healthcare, and children’s rights, as well as how collaboration can address these critical issues.
