In connection with the departure of outgoing ambassador José Raphael Lopes Mendes De Azeredo of the Federative Republic of Brazil, a farewell dinner was organized on Friday, September 6, by the ambassador and his wife, Mrs. Maria Rita. This event also coincided with the celebration of Brazil’s 202nd independence anniversary on September 7.

During the farewell dinner, a toast was made wishing the ambassador success in his future endeavors. “I thank the diplomat for his contributions during his tenure as Brazil’s ambassador to Suriname and wish him continued success in the future.”
