The Institute of the First Lady recently received a donation of reusable sanitary pads (washable sanitary pads) and menstrual cups. The intention is to donate these reusable sanitary pads and menstrual cups to homes and institutions that are in need of them.

Through this message, the First Lady called on homes and institutions that are interested in these reusable sanitary pads and menstrual cups to sign up so they can receive them. “You can send a letter to my institute indicating the quantity you desire. The letter can be delivered in person to the Institute of the First Lady at Tamarindelaan 2 (entrance opposite the Ministry of Justice and Police) or via email at firstlady@gov.sr.”

Washable sanitary pads are an environmentally friendly and versatile product. They are comfortable, less costly, and easy to clean. This product is a sustainable and eco-friendly choice that contributes to the ecological impact on our world. Those who choose washable sanitary pads generate less waste, in contrast to disposable menstrual products, which are thrown away after a single use.
