On Friday, April 26, as Chair of the Spouses of CARICOM Leaders Action Network (SCLAN), the First Lady had the first regular meeting with the members. During this virtual meeting they discussed the transfer of the presidency on March 16 and set out the annual agenda. “Throughout the year we will carry out various projects, while doing these we will certainly take into account the pillars that we at SCLAN stand for”, said the First Lady.

In addition, a number of events are planned which the SCLAN will be a part of. ”We will also anticipate and prepare for these. What we all agree on is that we will interest more members to join the organization, so that we can carry out larger projects together.”
