First lady Santokhi elected CHAIR of SCLAN

During a virtual meeting on Thursday, December 7, 2023, First Lady Mellisa Santokhi-Seenacherry was elected Chair of the Spouses of CARICOM Leaders Action Network (SCLAN) and First Lady Ann Marie Davis of the Bahamas as Vice Chair. For the past two years, the First Lady of Belize, Rossana Briceño, has served as chair.

During the online election, we discussed what the SCLAN stands for and the projects that should continue to progress in the coming year. After the election of the new Chair and Vice Chair, First Lady Briceño congratulated the new leadership. She has full confidence that the new leadership will take the SCLAN to greater heights.
