First Lady present at “Climate Talks for a Green Future”

Recently President Chandrikapersad Santokhi and First Lady Mellisa Santokhi-Seenacherry were in Dubai for the 28th edition of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28). At the invitation of Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, First Lady of the Republic of Türkiye and Chairman of the UN Secretary General’s Advisory Board of Eminent Persons on Zero Waste, the First Lady attended the activity “Climate Talks for a Green Future”. This activity has been organized as part of COP28.

During this activity the group discussed about our environment and what steps need to be taken to move towards a greener future. It was important for the First Lady to be a participant, also given that she herself is a member of the UN Secretary General’s Advisory Board of Eminent Persons on Zero Waste. #Love
