As a member of the Advisory Board of Eminent Persons on Zero-Waste, First Lady Mellisa Santokhi-Seenacherry attended the event ‘The world is our common home: Path to the Global Zero Waste Movement’ at the invitation of its Chairman, Emine Erdoğan First Lady of Turkey. During this meeting, the emphasis was on how important it is to keep our environment and especially nature clean. The line of speakers clearly stated that we have passed the global warming phase and are now moving towards global boiling. It all starts with us as individuals. We are responsible for preserving the nature around us. . Let us all make that mind shift and switch to recycling, in order to give more love to mother earth. This not only benefits us, but also many generations to come.
