First Lady Mellisa Santokhi-Seenacherry was in Trinidad & Tobago with President Chandrikapersad Santokhi, where the Caricom Heads of Government meeting was taking place. On Tuesday, July 4, she had a working lunch with Mrs. Sharon Clark-Rowley, First Lady of Trinidad & Tobago, and Mrs. Eloise Gonsalves, First Lady of St. Vincent & the Grenadines. During this lunch they discussed the activities of the SCLAN and how to implement the goals in their country. They also exchanged ideas about various social activities.

After this they had a guided tour at a local chocolate factory, Cocobel. This company makes chocolate, processed from fresh cocoa beans. Only local cocoa beans are used for processing. The First Lady will do her utmost to look into the possibilities of exporting cocoa beans to Trinidad & Tobago.
