On Saturday, June 24, the First Lady was invited by AllForOneSuriname to be a guest at the closing of the chess tournament organized by them. This tournament also had a fundraising and the proceeds will be used to achieve social goals. The First Lady thinks this is a wonderful initiative.

Chess is a mind sport, which we can link to our daily lives. This sport forces us to think strategically and to assess situations. This increases school and work performance. According to what I experienced on Saturday, Suriname has enormous potential to reach the world top in chess.
