On Monday, June 19, 2023, the Suriname Energy, Oil & Gas Summit & Exhibition (SEOGS 2023) was opened by President Chandrikapersad Santokhi. After the opening, the president and the First Lady had a tour of the units of the various Surinamese companies that are active in this sector. This summit is an excellent opportunity for internationals to get to know Surinamese partners, with whom they can enter into a collaboration.

During the summit, GOw2, a subsidiary of Staatsolie Maatschappij N.V., unveiled the new product line and name. NRG+ is the new name under which Gow2’s products will be marketed from now on. The First Lady congratulates Gow2 and Staatsolie Maatschappij N.V. on this development.
